Guests to bowl for babies in Edmond | Community Spirit

Families who have suffered the loss of a child will be hosting an event to remember those little lives and to help prevent other parents from going through the same heartache.

The Compassionate Friends will be hosting a fundraiser on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the AMF Boulevard Lanes in Edmond.

From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., guests will be able to enjoy bowling and a silent auction to help raise money for the TCF network.

For $20, participants can bowl as many games as they want during that time period. The price also includes a shoe rental.

In between strikes, visitors can bid on items like restaurant gift cards, hotels and other items during a silent auction.

All proceeds raised from the event will be used to educate parents about safe sleeping habits for infants and providing cribs for babies.

AMF Boulevard Lanes is located at 3501 S. Boulevard in Edmond.
